Question 'New' RK Sundowner vs 'Old'

I have put 50k happy and comfy miles on my Sundowner. The foam has finally compressed. The new 51617-99C has a seam across the back of the rider's bucket. My older model is smooth-bucketed.
Have any of you esteemed Forum members had the opportunity to sit on both? Do they sit the same? Thanks!

PS- I've also considered letting Sargents Seats in Jacksonville re-foam the rider's portion. Anyone tried that?

You can also try Allen at Mean City Cycles . He can refoam your seat.
