Had my 08 Ultra in to have the sound system replaced "defective CD player". My favorite mechanic worked on it and did the throttle fix download. Now I don't know if this is possible but it seems like the throttle is opening more now and I have increased power? That isn't possible is it? I know for sure it has better and quicker throttle response since the fix and maybe that's what 's making it seem like I have a tad more power??? The bulletin I read at the shop stated that the download could make the throttle response a tad slower, not in this case. I also discovered my original radio wasn't operating properly with the auto adjust volume. The original never turned itself up till I would hit around 50. The new one seems to adjust through the entire speed range now.
This mechanic is really cool to work with. He is one of those guys that is open to other products and ideas for enhancements that are not HD. I told him about the Xieds and he said it made sense, but wanted to throw the computer on and check things out. He said the Xieds must be doing what there designed to do as there are no error codes any where. That's good to know. He said the bike seems to be running perfect. He called the Xieds "cheater wires". Makes the computer think something that really isn't or is happening.
I'm ready for Glacier, Beartooth and Yellowstone on the 2nd
