Did you mean 08
rg?
I have had mine for 2 months and 3,000 miles. It's not a Sportster, but I love it anyway.

NO regrets. Even IF I traded this bike, it would be for another.
The windshield thing is OVERBLOWN if you ask me. I think the bike's so great it's all anyone can find wrong with it. At least that's the way it is in my book.

Yep me to. Love my 06 RG and as said above if I ever decide to trade, it will be for another. 09 Screamin Eagle, man I may have to take a look. Of course it would have to be really special. If you don't like your stock shield Clearview will fix you up.

Love mine, traded my 01 in on an 08. I don't have a clue what the "windshield thing" is either. I hear about buffeting but I must be the perfect height because in the nearly 50k miles I have put on my two RG's, I haven't noticed it. Was out running 85-110 for a good long ways today with my regular eyeglasses on, no problem. No buffeting, no vibration, no wind, just smooth sailing!

That's the way these bikes run. 85-90 all day long. Honestly, it really is like nothing. Over 100 I tense up just a bit.

My only regret is......
I have an 04 with about 45K miles on it. Almost all of them tooling around here in Mexico.
My only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner.
I still can't get this big grin off of my face.

I love the Road Glide, and would not want a bat wing over this set-up. I resisted buying this model initially because it's looks didn't appeal to me at first, but since I been riding this bike, I can't think of a bike I would want over the FLTR.
I specially like the dual head lights, excellent handling, and wind protection. It's a great bike imo.

Love my RG even though I'm still fiddling with windshields to get the perfect fit. I never liked the concept of bar mounted fairings so the RG was the right choice for me. Regrets? Not a one!

LOL...buy a RG and you belong to a cult.
RG riders set themselves apart....seriously, over the years, I have seen few serious complaints from a RG owner on a board.
