First Harley

Time sure does pass slow as I wait for the snow and ice to melt for the dealer to deliver my 08 UC.

The longest months of your life are those between ordering your Harley and delivery.

Those days make delivery day all the more euhporic.

My 08 UC was delivered yesterday - after the snow melted.... Now we get rain for 3 days and then high temps below 40.

Oh well, at least I can sit on it and make vroom vroom noises! Besides, it gives me time to set the radio stations and figure out this whole pin number thing.

Congrats on the UC! See you on the road!

I know what you mean. When I was supposed to pick my Deuce up, it had been beautiful weather all week. The night before we had a teriffic storm hit and it poured for 2 days. Luckily, my dealer offerred to deliver the bike for me so I still had it on the scheduled day. I just couldn't (wouldn't) ride it yet.
I spent a LOT of time that day just standing in the garage looking at it. the wife kept calling me on the cell phone asking if I was ever going to come inside. LOL
But, when I got home the first day out I had to call the dealer to schedule the 500 mile service.

I've had my Electra Glide for 4 years now. I still visit my garage and just stare! I have graduated from the Vrooom Vroom noises however. I now make potato, potato noises!
