Check The Fuses - When you turn the ing. on and filp the stop switch to Run - You enegize the fuel pump. (Noise you hear) SO I'd start with the fuse.

Do you have the key fob with you? The new security arms automatically and won't allow it to start unless the fob is within about 6 feet.

Edit: Nevermind, I see you have a few threads started about this problem with other symptoms listed. You might have better luck listing everything in one thread.

07 Ultra not starting

If you haven't had any luck with your Ultra, I can relate recent experience.

Within a week of taking delivery of my new '07 Ultra I had similar situation. Ignition on, kill switch on, bike powered up including fuel pump on...wouldn't start. Happened twice and each time started when I shut off ignition, and turned on again. At 1k mile service I told Dealer about problem. Dealer tried "40 times to replicate" problem but couldn't. Told "it was just one of those Gremlins". Not satisfied but went away.

Took bike to Americade, and problem became worse. Would happen once every six to eight times I got on the bike but would fire after shutting of ignition and trying again. Then I had what you describe...fuel pump wouldn't come on but otherwise had power. Then day three of our week at Americade it would take 10 off/on cycles of ignition switch to get bike to fire. Took it to local Dealer in Fort Ann immediately and guess what. Thirty tries and they couldn't get it to do the same....however, they stuck with it and an hour later got it happen and traced it back to contacts in the ignition switch.

Can't say enough about the guys at McDermotts. Pissing rain, they went out got bike and brought it into the shop right away. They had three guys working on it at one point. I was there almost three hours and the place was busy but they made time to get me on the road....and the washed my bike to boot and all cost under warranty.

I took it to the dealer last week. All kinds of codes came up on the Digital Tech. He would up having to wipe out the ECM and reload the factory map...boom...started right up!
