Belt drive duracion

I'am very sad, the belt drive of my 883C with only 25.000 Kms was broken...:-( It cost me +/- $400 ...They said to me it was broken because when i change the rear tyre i have strech to much the belt...
what do you tink about this ?????

Pick up a service manual for your bike. It will tell you how to adjust the belt. Do this especially if you change your on tires.

It would of had to been REAl too tight. I think you just where un-lucky with your 1st belt. Keep the new one at proper tension...

In Italy labor is very reasonable, the dealer I went to showed me his price sheets when I was pricing stuff. His cost from HD was much higher than retail or suggested list back in the States.
