Question for the Vertically Gifted

I want to start off by saying this question is for a friend not me. I am vertically challenged so my 1200C and FXDLI (with forward controls) suite me just fine.

I have a friend who is 6'5" and bought an 883C. He was on a group ride with us over the weekend and I noticed that even with the forward controls, he could probably use extended forward controls.

Since I have a 30" inseam, I have never looked into extended forward controls. It seems to me that the extended kits sold out there are for moving from mid-mounts. Is there a kit for just extending the controls another inch or two while retaining as much of the original hardware as possible?

Thanks in advance.

sure is, 2" extensions for the forward controls. I think it's in Jireh Cycles, I'll look tonight when I get home. I know they exist for the pre '03 and '04-up sporties. They cost about $250 I think.

Thanks guys...I couldn't find either of the above mentioned items at either site. Guess I am using the wrong keywords in my searches. Do either of you have part numbers?

At 6'5" the cheap solution is back seat driving.
