S&S Carb Instal Question
My Super E was delivered today. Plan on putting it on saturday morning. Was
reading the manual and it says " Sporters from 1988 to present have a two
cable throttle system designed for use with the stock cv carb. Since the
taller #11-2338 cable guide bracket can not be used on a sportster chasis
due to insuffecient fram clearance, throttle cables on sportsters orogonally
equiped with a CV carb must be changed to butterfly style cables. S&S can
supply the correct style throttle cables"
What is this sh1t ? Is this true? Is there a fix? Would have been nice to
know up front! I dont want to wait till the middle of next week for frickin
throttle cables! Any help would be appreciated.................
