Removing / Reinstalling Tranny Cover ?

I have a 2004 1200R and I bought an extra set of engine covers (primary, tranny / cam, and front sprocket. They'll be back from the powder coater in a week. My question is about replacing the cam cover piece. Any problems there or things to watch out for? Is it just a matter of slapping on the replacement or are there concerns about the cam position, or anything like that?
