Picked this up(1989 Hugger) for $1500 and could not be happier. Everything new about 1000 mi ago. Engine 1200 upgrade, clutch, all new new cables and hoses, master cylinders, fork seals, bars, shocks, tires, tank,Lapara gel seat,S&S shorty E carb,Bassani pro street exhaust and more I can't think of. Put about 600 mi on it so far and it runs and drives prefect. Got all reciepts for work done. Won't even tell how much was put into it. Guy needed $1500 right away. Didn't ask why, just handed over the money and never looked back. First time I was in the right place at the right time.
Hope the picture works, never tried it before.
Save the pic to a folder, click "manage uploads" when you make a post, then select the pic from your file and click on "upload". That should at least post it as a thumbnail. We all want to see pics.
Nice find!!!! I also recently picked up a little Super Low for local trips and really enjoy riding it more than my Street Glide. The fun factor on a Sportster is just hard to beat.
As I got older, I found it harder to maneuver my Road King, so found myself riding my Sportster Roadster 95% of the time. Now it's the only bike I have. Going to end my riding career the way I started it back in 1964 - on a Sportster. Sporties still make me smile.
Thanks, but at 67 yrs old, i'm a little past the "drive it like I stole it" phaze. I still get a kick out the looks from people they say, what are you doing on that? You should be on a bagger.LOL
