Anyone with raked wideglide triple trees?

I'm considering doing this to my bike. Any one out their who has done this can you please help me out. What kit did you use? How much rake? How much over tubes? How much length did it add to your bike? And could you post a picture. Thanks in advance, Jon.

Just saw a post on another forum about this very thing earlier today: http://www.xlforum.org/modules.php?n...9d7903505b74e0

Looks awesome, but I hear it really degrades your handling.

Wink rake?????

i used a wideglide tree with a 6% rake and at 70 mph i could not hold the bike on the road. dangerous as hell. if i wanted a wide front end i would do a stock rake only. a big waste of money for me. stock rake will still give your bike a good look. please ride safe.

i used the seeger wide glide chopper kit. +13 degree total with 7 inch over tubes. under my name is a small pick, do a search for chopper kit and i've posted pics of the install. love the ride. www.seegercycle.com has some general pics of other bikes.

Thanks for the reply's guys. A friend of mine at work just installed a 13* kit on his bike and it looks great. It's just a little to rich for me. I found a set of trees that can be adjusted from 0 to 10*, and am concidering using them. I didn't relize their ar any high speed side affects of entending the front end. I always kinda thought it would make it more stable at speed from the increased wheel base. Thanks for the info, Jon.
