02 883 Leaking gas from overflow hose

Friends 2002 883 Hugger just started leaking gas from the Fuel Over Flow Drain Hose (per descripiton in service manual)... I tried to locate this hose on my 1200Sport but I don't have one.
Has SE air filter and SE slip on's .. didn't rejet yet.. Mods were done a month ago. Not sure if it is related.
Can anyone help with this?
Bike runs good just starts leaking (alot) when he starts it up ..

rovert is on a distinguished road
doubt that it has anything to do with the (incomplete) stage one mods. Sounds more like a stuck float. I'm surprised that the bike runs well without re-jetting. I hope your buddy understands that he is running WAY lean...not a good thing.
