First Harley

I apologize if this has been posted before, but I am looking at getting my first Harley. Im 19 6'2" and weight about 220. Ive ridden motorcycles since I was 16. been riding a drz650 enduro a couple years now. I just wanted to get you guys opinions on the sportster, particularly the iron 883. I fell in love this bike the moment I saw it. Love the bobber look. Like I said just wanted opinions and if there are any reliability issues with this bike as it will be a daily driver. Also want to get the V&H short shots. Thanks

The IRON is a cool look, great quality Harley Sportster. Another with bobber looks is the Forty Eight, has a 1200 plant, big power improvement over the 883. At 6-2 you may be a little tall, but that's how it is. The V-H Shorty's with rattle and rumble,you will have a serious Harley sound with those. The IRON is a great, proven Sporty and will roll daily as far as you want to sit on it, very reliable. Have fun.

I agree, you may want to find something a little larger. I am 6'2" and every sporty that I've sat on was a little cramped feeling. I have rode sport bikes sometimes, but the sporty feels cramped for a cruiser. I would recommend a Heritage or something of that sort.
