I got the one with the flat backing plate at my local H-D dealership. I like it much better than the stock one.

i also have the curved laydown and love it. i like how it curves with the fender.

www.denniskirk.com has the flat laydown plate. I wanted flat but didn't want the MoCo's name on it.
