Before and after pictures of my son's 1988 1200 Sporster. Top end gone through 0.30 over on the pistons, 0.40 off the heads. S&S carb finally set right. He got 22mpg the day he rode it home, now he get 46-48 regularly. Has over 8,000 on it since rebuild. Did all the work except machining the top end in my shop. Even the 1970 Ford Grabber Blue paint.
Just picking brains, mine's worn out!
