What is the biggest front sproket that will fit on a 1987 XL1100 Sporster ?? I am looking for as much top end as possible...
and exactly what would the "new" length of the chain needed,, and exact chain type...??

Also does anyone have a good source of purchase on the sproket and a chain...?

Hello, welcome to the forum.
You may want to determine if the bike has enough power to handle higher gear ratios.
If it's stock you could turn the bike into a real dog.

its a 1200 with cams and v / c exhaust with screamin eagle carb and ignition kit with my fat ass on it,, i was pushing 160 lbs last time i weighed in... ))
