1999 Sportster 1200 C question

I went and looked at a 1999 1200 C with 22K miles last night. Rode well, very comfortable, has custom paint and a lot of accessories. Any particular issues with the 1999's that I should look at before deciding?

We talked price and the seller is willing to sell for $4500 - good deal or not?

I will give you my 2 cents worth and you get what you paid for

I would think it is a fair price but it could be better. It depends on what the Bike is worth to you in the long run. Hell I paid $5500 for and 98 883/1200 conversion that goes like a Bat Out Of Hell...Gotta buy that CD soon.

Nieghbors next door both bought 06 1200 C's with super low miles for just a little over $6000.00 each...But they look funny as the motor seems to bounce like a pogo stick.

So, in short if yo where to offer him $4000.00 all he can say is NO.
