Brake light problem

Hello all,
I'm a new user from Tucson, Az.
I just replaced the Ft and Rear brake pads. Everything went fine with the Front.
On the rear, I removed the caliper for additional access.
Put everthing back together, serviced and blead the rear brakes. Now rear brake light doesn't work. Checked the circuit by disconnecting the wires from the pressure switch, jumpered the wires together, light works.
Reconnected wires to switch, still no rear brake light. Brakes appear to work properly,altough I haven't rode the bike yet.
Any Suggestions? all help greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Just noticed tthe same problem with mine however I did not change any pads. I bled and refilled the fluid but still no light. I'm wondering if the switch is bad, I pressed down hard and the light came on but I should not have to stand on it. I will wait abit for an answer or call the dealer tomorrow. I have the shop manual but it doesn't mention anything.
