Jenn,

I'd say start with the basics. Check to see that the battery terminals are connected, then check the fuses. Any chance you left the key on? Might be a dead battery? How old is it? Do you have a battery charger, try connecting it up and see if you get lights?

Good luck, keep us posted.

Took key out when I parked it. It is a 2007. After I washed it and let it sit overnite it started right up then parked it and covered it. Now I found the positive post, but where is the negative. I am only half a grease monkey and it has been 15 years...little out of practice.

The ground (black) terminal in the back, but you should find the ground post on the engine block just below the battery. Look for a thick black wire coming from the bottom of the battery box, that is screwed to the top of engine block. You could connect your black clamp of the battery charger there. Batteries are notorious for dropping stone dead when they go bad. But you should still be able to get lights when you connect the charger, and should be able to start if you charge the battery a little bit and later turn up the charger power to 'start' (depending on the charger).

Don't forget to check the fuses.

Jenn, the 07's have had problems with water getting in the fuze box and causing the IAC motor to cycle until it drained the battery. Check and make sure the battery is charged. The fix (after recharging the battery) is to pull all the fuzes and relays (one at a time) and apply dielectric grease to all the contacts...then try to not get water squirted up into the fuze box area.

After rereading the posts I see it wasn't the battery...but dielectric grease is your friend!
