Are you just installing a K&N filter ? If you're not changing the stock airbox, the carb should be fine as it is.

I changed to the K&N replacement filter a few months ago and haven't made any changes to the carb. The engine is stock and the only change made to the exhaust was to knock the baffles out. I think the bike is running a little lean but not enough for me to worry about.

Have you pulled the plugs to take a look ? Prolly okay, but it won't hurt to check.

Hi twincamzz,

I haven't checked the plugs yet. When the bike is cold there is some hesitation when you turn the throttle. However, once the bike warms up it runs fine.
