engine light
hey there
long time since I've asked any questions, but that is a good thing cause it means everything has been working great, until today... And everything is still working great, just different. On my '04 FXST, with EFI, 95 build from last year with Dewey's head work, ect., When the ignition is turned on the Engine light comes on, does it's diagnostic check, and goes off like normal, then you start the bike. Well the Engine light comes back on for another 4 seconds, and then goes off again.... So I tryed it without starting the bike. Just turn the ignition switch on, light comes on for four sec. or so like normal, goes off then comes back on for another few seconds, and goes off again. After that, the light does not come back on again until you restart the bike. It still runs fine, no noise or loose conections that I can find. Any Idea why the change? I looked thru the service manual, and could find nothing. Local HD shop is clueless.... Like normal, so I thought I'd ask the experts here. Any Help or sugestions would be great. Hope someone has an idea....
