My oldest son wanted to turn his sporty into an old skool 70s era looking chopper. Still working on it but looks pretty darn good so far IMO. Before and after. From "the baboon" to "the stranger".

This is how many of them looked back in the 70's.



This scooter is a little newer. But it shows the long forks, tall sissy bar and K&C seat

Yea he's planning similar pipes and front spoke wheel when he gets the $$ but didn't want a king/queen seat on it.

That's a sweet lookin chopper! Is that yours?

Started the build in 2010, finished in 2013.
Frame is from Krafteck, engine a 1974 shovel.

No, not mine.

Back in the day I had a 73 XLCH that was set up like that. Almost the same, except that it was free wheeled. Sunburst Blue with the AMF rainbow on the tank.

Not sure what old school means. I think it is influence from where you looking at it from.
My 1996 is pretty much the way it came. I removed seal beam lights and saved them . I don't consider it old school. Old school for me is Chain drive, tube spoke wheels, Drum brakes front and rear and carb.
