Anyone Tried Champion Sidecars' Hardbags?

I've been looking for hardbags for my Deluxe. Harley's got em for $800 ready to piant. I checked out Bad Apple bags in Canada. Pretty nice but not what I am looking for. I recenlty found Champion Sidecars website and thier FatBoy Patriot Sport bags. They look pretty good, will clear my stock shotgun exhaust, and they deliver them paint matched with matching pin stripes. Sadly they are expensive! $1,300 paint matched and delivered. But I'd pay about that for Harley bags painted. Has anyone seen or used these Champion bags? How is the mounting, easy, hard, cheap, solid? Are they well made or junk? Are there better choices out there?

Kind of pricey for such small bags, IMO.

I sold a set of mint black police bike bags to a guy a while back. He was a machinist and made stainless hardware to mount them on his Fat Boy. They turned out looking great on the bike. They looked like they were made for the bike. I'd research going that route.

I've seen a few new bags come out fo rthe Deluxe. The Boss Bags look nice. Anyone tried 'em yet? Got any pics? Any new news on hard bags fitting the Deluxe?
