fatboy to heritage trn sig.

Has anyone ever tried mounting the heritage turn signals (see attachment) on a fatboy. I want to drill the 4 holes in the fender, (no flat indent for lights) and shim out the back of the fender to keep them from rocking on and deforming the fender. has anyone else tried this? If so, any hints or advice.

yes I did it on my old fatboy....if you get a mirror and look under the fender you may just find that there are spots under there where the nuts would have gone on the back side....my '91' was like that...but I drilled the holes and relocated the turn signals onto the rear fender....if you do not shim under the back side though...it will pull the light bar down and indent into your fender.
