Ghostrider, your bike look awesome. I am about to start modifying a freight train nacelle for my 2012 deluxe. Do you have any advice? I want to keep the passing light bar also.

You shouldn't have to modify the Nacelle to fit your bike if you are using HD #67907-96C. As far as the passing lamp bracket goes, you'll need to grind down the mount standoffs. I had to grind about 3/16" off of the top two and about 1/8" off of the bottom two.

I'm thinking of running a detachable fairing, any pro's or con's on the reckless?? Also which speakers sound the best, four round or two 6x9"s...

OK folks here's a tire question for ya, I'm in need of yet another rear tire, same Ole story, only about 7-K outta my stock Dunlap's. I'm staying with the wide white walls so my tire choice is limited, what are you running on your Deluxe and whats your avg miles ??? And yes I check tire pressure several times a week and it stays within a 38-40 lbs radius. One up 99% of the time.

While I got the best mileage out of the stock Dunlop (over 10K on the rear) I just don't care for their handling. Tried Avon Venoms and while handling was great, due to there very soft compound I only got about 6K from the rear. I'm now on my first set of Metzler 880 and they also provide much better handling than the Dunlops. There is currently 6K on the rear and still a fair amount of tread left. I'm hoping to get at least 8K from them.
I just wish Dunlop would produce the E3 or the D407/D408 in sizes and a WWW for the Deluxe and other Softails. They handle way better than the stock D401/D402 and still get great mileage.

thought about bags for my 2012 but addeds few rear chrome pieces instead...for now. Just bought a Uniq classic edition audio system and found out (lookin at manual) that I have to connect to a body control module instead of an accessory wire...well thats what the dealer said I should do. So I bought an HD update kit. We"ll see. Any suggestions ?

I like the batwing, I'm really needing bigger saddle bags though, I want hard bags for sure, planning a trip to Sturgis this year and will need as much room as possible, these factory bags just ain't it !
