Just took the passenger seat and sissy bar off. I figure hd sticks that thin layer of plastic on the rear fender to protect the paint. Well it had air bubbles and wrinkles so I tried to pull it off . Now what? It separated , Now the glue is still on the fender.

A warm garage and some wd40 an a clean rag. That should clean off the glue. Spray on the wd40 and let it sit for an hour, then reapply and wipe off with a clean soft rag.

It's the Kuryakyn 4859. Retails for 69.99. This is a plug-and-play module that plugs into the rear lighting harness in front of the rear fender. It has a pulse feature that can be turned off. Flashes 3 times quickly.

The Kuryakyn model turns your rear turn signals into running lights as well as brake lights. The more light back there the better.

Harley has one of these for $43.95 but it does not have the running light feature - just the brake lights.

I run with the detachable bar off and take the passenger pillion off sometimes. I left the plastic on and got a studded fender bib.

Love that Heritage!

Of five Harleys, two have been the Heritage. My current ride is an '05. I just like the way I sit in the bike and not on it.

I just installed the "saggy bags" kit, yes it was a little pricey at $115 for the kit but well worth it. Had to trim a little off a couple of the inserts but no biggie. Total time of about 2 hours with about 24 hours drying time. Makes the bags look sharp.

Handlebars, yep, I never liked the stock Heritage bars. I moved them back and forth several times trying to find a good spot. They weren't horrible or anything, just not perfection. After putting the 16" chubby apes, I found handlebar heaven.

The in-the-bike feel is one of the big plusses to this great bike.

I went to get some crashbars on saturday since the weahter was above freezing. The dealer said that this was the brand new style...first set he sold. They are very comfortable...especailly for shorter people. I tried my friends stock set but I was extended too far. Heres a picture...I hope it works...
