Hey, still me.
Love living in Thailand but its a bear finding parts info, gotta buy parts from eBay or run the chance of fakes over here.
Does anyone out there have access to 92 FLSTF manuals and parts lists? I've searched the free download sites with no joy....obviously....so was wondering if anyone out there can lend a hand.
Thanks troops.

OK.....got another issue.
The headlight shroud on my 92 Fatboy rattles like the tin man falling down the stairs.
Any one have any thoughts?
Thanks, Kevin

I have the harley sundowner seat and love it. My wife even likes it. Just enough butt support for her and the seats a little lower and gives a decent back support.

My Boys
I like the Fat Boy and have 2 Anniversary models.
Attached photos of my Boys together, and separately, 12 time zones apart.
40,000 wild miles on the 08 in 28 months of riding without 1 (one) significant manufacturers failure.

I started working on this bike with the intension of not going all out like I had in the past... Well that didn't last long. Before I new it I was picking out pipes, wheels, paint and not to mention the engine.
I just want to share one other quick story because I read alot of stuff on the forums about Colormania and I want you all to know how my order went with them.
The last thing I had left to decide on was a paint scheme and more importantly who to hire to paint the tins. I found some ideas online on different sites and I landed on colormania's site. From my first phone call and speaking to a guy named Cory I knew I picked the right place. This guy has some great ideas and helped me create exactly what I was looking for. I also was kept updated from Oscar on the progress which was unbelievably fast. They finished the set on the exact deadline we established from the first talk. I was just sent photos and the set will be here in a few days.
I took my stock gloss black set off and I'll have the new set installed by this week-end Daytona Bike week if all goes well. I want to thank everyone at Colormania for completing the set right ontime and creating an awsome paint job!! Pictures of my bike will be posted once I finish it this week. Ride safe!

In June of this year I bought a new 2012 FatBoy Lo with 9 miles on the clock. My 4th bike, but my first Harley and first bike in almost 20 years (times flies).
Sat on a bunch of them before deciding the FatBoy Lo was the best fit for me. It's got almost 4k miles on it now. I can take that bike anywhere and have. Taking it to Laconia next year. Stage 1 kit and exhaust next spring. Love the look of it all blacked out, very little chrome, not that there's anything wrong with chrome, I'd rather ride it than clean it. Took the back pillion off, wife refuses to get on it, for now. Saddle bag and fender bib from Harley. Bag is just big ebough to throw a rain jacket and sweatshirt in it, big enough for stuff, but small enough where it doesn't affect the look of the bike. Can't wait until they clean these roads off from this storm.
My only issue, is the front brake fluid reservior started seeping at about 3,100 miles, nothing serious and i'm keeping an eye on it, because I know what it does to the paint, after looking online, seems like it's an issue that happens a lot, it's going to the dealership on Friday to get that taken care of along with the regulator recall, they're almost certain my bike isn't part of the recall, but are checking to mbe 100%. Be safe everyone.

Have another question about 03 Fatboy. Looking to change exhaust pipe from stock to V&H big shots. Ho difficult would this be for a guy with basic mechanical skills? Want to do it myself if possible.

Changing an exhaust is very simple. They bolt on and off. Does your bike still have a stock air cleaner? If so, you'll want to change that out (that's also easy to change out). Your bike, and you, will be a lot happier if you do.

I have a set of Rush crossovers on my 04 Fatboy. They look identical to the big shot staggereds but are a better quality product. The pipes are ceramic coated inside and out and are available with either chrome, black or silver ceramic coated shields and can be bought online and on eBay from a few discounters. They also have different baffle diameter options. I have the 1.75". My bike was on the Dyno on Monday and the operator said to me that my torque curve was better than he would normally expect from BSS. When I pointed out they were a different pipe his reply was "Ah, no wonder they work better". They still have a bit of a dip at the left of the torque curve, but apparently not as pronounced as with BSS. I fitted them myself easily enough too. Hardest part is getting the stock pipes off.

Hi folks, have a question I was hoping someone could help me with.
Just bought a used gas cap fuel gauge for my 92 and can't figure out the wiring. Does anyone out there have an answer or a set of directions I could see?
Thanks in advance troops.

Thanks for the advise on the pipes. I did change them out and the air cleaner. It was a pretty simple job.
Now I have a new question. I have Jardine highway bars and was thinking of getting a set of Desert Dawg rain gaurd chaps to help with the cooler weather. Any advise?
