Question Advice on drag bar for 07 Nighttrain

Hello all,

It's been awhile since I've been on here. Finally getting back into a nighttrain once again. Bike is in the shop getting a S&S 110 winter power package put on and I'll be putting on bars and forward controls plus new tires ect.

Anyways I had a 06 nighttrain before and I put on the HD street slammers and liked them but was wondering if anyone tried anything different that had about the same reach back and all.

I'm about 6 foot 1 and like to stretch out a little . I also had the HD forward controls put on and was really happy with those.

Any advice / comments would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Shane

Cowboy, you have 6" more altitude than I. But, I had the H-D StreetSlammers in chrome on my '06 FXSTBi. These were on the bike when they were first intro'd with H-D polyurethane bushing sleeves and chrome mounting hardware. About 7 yrs. of wear without any appearance/performance issues. Of note, I prefer hand placement a little wider than the narrow OEM dragbar.

Summer '14 the lowside crash happened and I had always wanted matte black bars since the blackened StreetSlammers were announced in '11 or '12. Beaureed, a friend that was once a VTF member had Wild 1 Chubbys on his FXST Standard and I was taken with the rise/pullback/width.

This led me to the Wild 1, Inc. Chubby pullback drags w/ 8" rise (P/N W0501). Super pleased with the fit and finish of Wild 1 products. I also went from the standard silvery H-D braided hand control lines to the H-D Diamond Black braided steel for an all black look.

Here's a link to the dragbar page --->http://www.wild1inc.com/DRAG.html
