Anyone lowered an 04 Fatboy?

I have the Arlen Ness Kit. Any helpful recommendations? Run into any problems? Press issues? I've read all the posts but, none dealt with 04 issues. Thanks, Fatbill

04 isn't going to be any different than the last few years of fattys.

Lowering it 2" will make it look really cool and ride really bad. As long as there are no curves, corners, railroad tracks, construction, curbs, storm drains or bumps between local bars, you're fine.

I considered using the Ness kit, but it lowers the front more than I wanted. I will probably go with the ness rear and the HD front lowering kits.

I also saw from your profile that you have the Nacelle. If you didn't install it, understand that that has to be removed to install the front kit. Dealer was quoting me 3 hours for the removal and re-install. Also, you need a spring press tool to install the screw on the shock.

Despite all this, I plan on installing all the stuff myself.
