Harley extended controls vs OTHERS?

I got a set of 3" extended controls (harley brand) and after putting them on it seems like the pegs are kinda high. Checked several other bikes and they are where there suppose to be, about 1-2" higher than the top bracket mount on the brake side.

I was looking at some custom bikes and noticed beside the brake resourvior being located on the control the pegs are located lower, in some cases even with the top mount point. This made even more leg extension.

Anybody else notice this, or can tell me who makes the best extended controls for maximum leg stretch. I"m 6'4" with 34 inseam and need as much as I can get.

Thanks,
Mike
