Question FLSTC - ? about change out pipes...

I have a '02 Heritage - fuel injected which I love! When I got the bike, I had SEII slip on's installed and the computer reprogrammed for them. I would like something a bit louder - If I got a set of Vance & Hines long shots, would I need to have the EFI reprogrammed again?

Thanks and great forum...just found it a couple weeks ago.

If you want alot of bang for the buck, put the Python 3 slip-ons on.
Just put em on my 04' heritage and they sound awesome!!
Found a web price on them of $175.

I have an 02 Heritage carb with Hard Krome Double D S-Bends. They look good and sound good. They are loud even with the baffles in. Hard Krome makes 3 diffrent baffles so you can choose the sound. Havent try them but I have some on order. Here is a picture .

EFI reprogramming question...

Thanks for the replies - my intent is to get louder pipes, but my real question is, "Will I need to have the 'computer/EFI' reprogrammed again?" for a new set - It was reprogrammed for the SEII's, will it need it again for a different brand/type of pipe/muffler?

Thanks again

The stage 1 flash (which is what I assume has been installed on your bike) is generic and can accomodate a wide range of exhaust systems. I do not believe there are different flashes for different exhausts.

I'm curious as to why the dealer flashed your EFI if you did not also install the stage 1 A/C (or maybe you did). I always understood that exhaust mods did not require reflash, but intake mods did.

I have the stage 1 flash on my '04 FLSTCI and I run V&H Big Shot longs with the SE A/C. My bike runs perfectly.
