pullback riser on older bike

Hi All,
i have a 98 fatboy and i was looking to put on the 4" pullback riser
harley 56269-09. it says its for 1 1/4 inch bars but i thought i saw people with older bars using it. anyone else using it on older stock bars?
Thanks, JP

risers

I have the 4" pullback risers on my '85 FXEF. I wanted to keep the buckhorn bars. I am probably going to go to straight risers to get me where I want to be.
Mine are swap meet so do not know the man.

I believe Harley makes those for 1" bars and for 1 1/4" bars. A lot of aftermarket 1 1/4" bars actually taper to 1" at the mounting area so you can use your stock 1" risers and clamp. Make sure you get the one that fits the diameter of your bar. If you have 1" bars, don't buy risers designed for 1 1/4" bars. Check out HD PN 56066-82A first...
