Cruise Control and 07 Fatty

Anyone know if Harley offers this? Searched the Harley website and didn't find anything for the Softail models.

Or know of any after market configuration that offers a similar plug-n-play setup?

Any insight appreciated.
Thanks,
Kerry

Try www.cruisemount.com they claim they fit 1996-present softails. They use a H-D cruise kit with a few special adaptors to fit bikes not originally designed for it.

Don't know anything about this outfit myself, other than I see their add in American Iron magazine all the time.

Man, talk about pricey!! $446.00 - not inlcuding the HD Cruise Control. Steep!

The though has crossed my mind about electronic cruise. But, for that price I'll stick with my Iso grips w/throttle boss.

Yea, I have used the Throttle Boss' for years - but figure screw it. I put on so many miles and might as well treat myself. From everyone I have asked, they always respond that it's one of the best mods they have done. Never a bad thing to say. I think I am going to have to spend about $800 when it's all said and done. NOT CHEAP!!

I had this installed on my Heritage. One of the best things you can do if you ride a bunch. I've had it on for sixty or seventy thousand miles. I think I spent around $800 installed. For me, it was cheaper than losing my liscence for to many speeding tickets.
Later,
Ray

The Cruisemount was among the first mods I did to my FLSTF. Yep, it was expensive but it was worth every penny. If you could get your own mounting bracket/cover fabbed and could handle extending the wiring harnesses I suppose you could just buy the Road King cruise kit and attempt it yourself. I suggest you would need a Road King Service manual to get the wiring diagrams.
