Sorry, but that is not a universally true statement. Most V&H's 2-2 pipes have an X pipe that connects the two pipes together to provide more power and back pressure (e.g. V&H Big Shots Staggered). Your statement also assumes that drag pipes don't have baffles, but most do. IMS, V&H's pipes come with pass-through baffles installed, which don't provide alot of back pressure but there is some. Installing the V&H quiet baffles (which aren't that quiet) will give plenty of back pressure. I have them installed on my ride and love the sound etc.

Yeah, I'd go with both BB and cams (e.g. HD Stage-II kit or similar). Thats the route I went and love it. Major difference compared to stock. While your in there, you might as well replace the cam tensioner shoes, depending on how many miles you have on your ride.

It may be power you can feel, but only if your constantly riding with a wide open throttle. In the normal riding RPM ranges, the gain is minimal.
