Anyone know fro sure if the rear brake caliper from a deuce is the same caliper that came in the wide tire kit for 00-02 softails? Want to fatten up the back with a 150 tire, but want to look into all the different ways of doing it.

Not certain the wide tire kit came with a new caliper?? But yeah the deuce caliper will work if you buy the new spacers to center the wheel properly. Don't forget to reverse the fender strut bolts while you're at it..

While you're at it, why not go to a 180mm tire? It'll fit if you do like Shaw says in his post with the spacers and centering the wheel with the centerline of the fender / backbone. I've done several Deuces and a few Softails up to 200mm using Avon tires.

180 is too big, the biggest a 2000 will take is 160. I've maxed mine out...
