Power commander / HD download

I have just traded my 08 dyna lowrider for a 08 softail custom anniversary edition, could not pass up the deal. The bike was brand new, 11 miles. My question is I have a new power commander that I had on the dyna for 3 days before I traded it, found out it will not work on the softail, is it worth the expense to buy another power commander that fits the softail or just use the factory down loads. The changes I will complete on the new softail will be cycle shack slip on's and K&N filter assemble. I ride very conservantly and very seldon run over 65mph. Thanks for your comments.

Another point of view, but I only have one leg and it's hard working the brake and shifting when on the highway.

Forget the PC & go for the Screamin' Eagle Supertuner. Have the bike race tuned on a dyno,by an HD dealership. The download will not work well because it is street legal, and still causes your engine to run to lean, which equals HOT;you will have decel pop, & your pipes will most likely glow in the dark where they come out of the head. It will cost a little more, but you'll know your Iron Woman is running the absolute best it was designed to do, before the EPA decided you shouldn't be allowed to have fun!

BTW don't let them give you any crapola about the 65 MPH. I seldom run THAT fast--I don't have a Harley for excitement;I have it for relaxation, and the faster you go, the less you can relax.

OldMsocko is an unknown quantity at this point
Mine won't go faster than 55 mph unless I get off and push.
