Cool Repairing my bags

Anyone have any luck finding Harley parts to fix your straps on the leather bags? Local dealer said the only way I can replace the plastic clip (unless I wanted to do it myself) was to buy new bags (Told him to kiss off) I'll fix it myself. But I was wondering if any of you had any ideas where to get those heavy duty plastic clips on my 07's straps?

Try REI.

They are an outdoor/camping/climbing outfitter and have tons of those type things.

I'd try a tac shop. They have leather repair capabilities and might just be able to replace those crap plastic quick release buckles with real metal.

I've bought webbing and hardware from these folks.

http://www.strapworks.com/

Large variety of products, reasonably priced, good service.
