Just double checking.

26 oz in the primary
24 oz in the trans
3.5 qts engine oil.

And, yes... I know this is discussed. This is what I came up with, but for anyone who has every read anything about oil, there are a million opinions.... just trying to see if i got the right numbers.

According to the 05 ST Service Manual:

Primary: Yes
XMSN: 20-24 oz.
ENG No more that 3.5 qts

Transmission is checked with bike VERTICAL, not on side stand. Same with oil.

Primary back then wasn't an "amount", but with bike vertical, oil should be at a certain "level" on the clutch pack. If bike has been lowered or anything, this could affect how much should be put in. Not enough.... too dry. Too much... not good either.

I wrenched for 4 years, and it often took closer to 30 ounces to get the primary right.
