Radical Paint Set, Night Train

I purchased a Harley Davidson Radical Paint set for a 04 & 05 Night Train. My question is what varies from the 04 & 05 model year when compared to the 03 model year (carbed). I have been told that everything is the same except the fuel line fitting and that can be easily changed. Can anyone here verify that?

The 04 carbed had the hole (under the console) on top of the tank.

Yes, I see the mounting for the console is different. What is involved in converting over to the 04-style console? What pieces would I need to collect? Could I still use my electronics and speedo and only change some of the hardware? In your opinion would it be cost prohibitive? I would like to use this paint set on my bike and did pick it up for a great price.

I know the top hole on the 04 tank is for the 04 fuel pump assembly. Can I cover the hole with part of a fuel pump assembly (mounting plate) and mount my console or a 04 console?

I found that I can use the top plate from a 04 or 05 Night Train gas tank, finding a used one is the issue. Can anyone help point me in the right direction to locate a top plate cover or used/damaged fuel pump assembly for this model? I am considering having one fabricated if needed as the dealer wants $350.00 for the complete part. Before I go to the trouble of building one I wanted to try finding a used one.
