I would like to replace my front plate behind the headlight on my Heritage. How do I disconnect the headlight so I can remove the plate? Do I need to disconnect under fuel tank? Any advice appreciated
You can remove the headlight assembly by removing the sealed beam then take the wires out of the plug. To remove the wires from the plug, take a very small screwdriver to release the tiny tabs from each of the three electrical connections inside the plug. Once this is done, you will be able to pull the wires out through the small hole in the rear of the headlight assembly. The rest is easy.
