It caught every penny I threw at it. Tore it down in mid-Jan and just got it inspected on Saturday after getting the front brake working correctly.

06 train:
first off, that looks awesome! i've been planning a similar swap for my 06 ever since before I bought it!
how does that springer ride? i hear horror stories of shockless springers bouncing all over the place. after you get some good highway time in, please let us know what you think.
also, what did you buy for parts in order to mount your risers? i know that springer risers are different than the glide ones used on the stock softail trees, and am curious about exactly what's in your setup. thanks in advance.

Is a Bad Boy or Springer Classic front end a direct installation or are mods needed?

Wow BadTrain, it's funny how similar our bikes are. Good choice in handlebars. They look great on the bike. I used to have the Paul Yaffe Phantom pipes on my bike, but I was in an accident and had to replace them.

I can only speak for me, but the Bad Boy springer was a direct installation. I believe the rake on the Night Train paired with the front end is acceptable. I didn't do anything special, just put it on. Seems fine.
