IMO, Kuryakyn makes some descent stuff. I have purchased a few parts from them over the years and never had any trouble. Seach Ebay as you can usually find discounted parts.
As for adding a power commander, what mods have you done to your bike? Unless you have changed the pipes and air cleaner then no need for a PC.
