Same here. Was a 1628 mile round trip for me. Heat was bad going out. Also really hot while out there. Couldn't enjoy as much of the event as I would have liked. Pretty nice coming back tho. Weather was 20 - 25 degrees cooler.
I also was at the rally but at the conclusion we headed west on route 66 to Las vegas, thru the desert my temp guage on the bike was pegged. Today it was 103. We are cutting our time here short because of the heat and heading for the altitude in CO. BTW KANSAS was awesome.
