Impressed with Fort Lauderdale HOG

I am working on becoming a member of the Fort Lauderdale Harley Drill Team, and to be in the Drill Team, I must be a Fort Lauderdale HOG member. So I joined last night at their monthly general meeting.

Wow, what a turnout, I would estimate 150-175 people showed up to the meeting. And their flier for the January activities is through the roof. There's something for everyone on the calendar, and people actually show up to the events!

The organization I am also a member off, which is not an M/C (but kind of is), has hardly any member participation, maybe 10 people show up at the meeting, not alot of people show up for rides and activities, and it kinda sucks (but they do alot of charity work and I really like the group that's there, so I stay involved).

But the HOG group, WOW. The participation is very impressive. The dealership (which is 3 broward dealers, all Rossmeyer) is also very impressive.

Can you tell I am impressed?

I am going to be in Florida near Lauderdale in Feb & March 09 - I am a HOG memeber in Virginia and wanted to stop by and visit the Lauderdale HOG meeting - can you tell me where and when they meet each month? Thanks a ton
