National HOG rally, Oklahoma City--Where to stay

Anyone have any good suggestions for "reasonable priced motels" in the Oklahoma City area? I saw some near the downtown but they were in the $130 to 150/night range and I don't really like paying that much. Most of the others I saw on the outskirts were Motel 6's. Are there any other chains around the city or any good mom & pop ones?

I spend a lot of time in OKC and allways stay on the west side of town just north of the airport,it really is not far to anything and roads are pretty good, meridian ave runs north from the airport and is basically full of restraunts and motels, there is an extended stay which is very inexpensive also for a little more the residence inn on reno and meridian, everything in between from marriot to choice is in that same area,if you stay near there be sure and checkout catfish charlies it is a biker hangout with friendly staff bands on weekend etc. enjoy..Tom..

This may be to late, but I am from the OKC area and if you want affordable and nice hotels try Norman. It is about 15 minutes from OKC and there are alot of hotels in that area do to it being home to the Oklahoma Sooners.

Places to stay

A real good place is Homewood suites at Reno and Rockwell.
This is across street from Harley World and only 4 miles to Fair grounds where everything is happening.
