Tomahawk 08

Tomahawk was a lot fun this year.

We actually had blue skies and sun on Friday.

There was some rain, ok, a lot but it was much better than last year's sleet!

Simply; it's scores 5 out of 10 for me.
It either rains, is cold or both. It's very rural. The riding is okay but nothing special.
People are very friendly and it’s a very relaxed atmosphere.
You can see and do most everything in one day.
It’s okay but not something everyone must do before they die.
Just my opinion…

kwas is an unknown quantity at this point
But for those of us that have to drive an hour just to get to country roads, Tomahawk is well worth the trip. From Chicago going north, its almost solid metropolis until Milwaukee.

I go up to that area 2-3 times a year. It is a beautiful place to ride. You just have to look a little harder. There are rustic roads all over. Get off the beaten path.

Originally being from Oshkosh, I couldn't agree more. I have had many excellent rides in the Tomahawk area. You just need to wander around to find some of the best riding there. Head North from there, and you will find even better riding.
