Fly-n-Ride/Nevada DMV???

Does anybody know if or when the problem between HOG's Fly-n-Ride program and the Nevada Dept. of Motor Vehicles will be resolved?
HOG acts like it will only be a short term problem and I'm told to call back every Monday to see if it is resolved. But, it's been that way for quite some time now.
Thanx.

I personally found the fly ride expensive. I've just got my own flights and rented from a dealer, most offer 10% discount to HOG members
Have you tried contacting the dealer directly ?

You just know if HOG's involved it's unlikely to be a bargain

I agree cant recall the dealers name, they claim to be the largest?anyway they will pick you up at the airport in vegas and bring you to the dealership found them cheaper and booked my flight using travelocity. What is the problem with fly and ride and the DMV anyway?

HOG Fly-n-Ride cost was $100 per day; while HD-Las Vegas rental charge was $155 per day, which also wasn't apllicable during any "special event" (ex: BikeFest, Laughlin, etc.).
From what I am being told, the problem has something to do with the way the bikes were registered by HOG, while being actually in the custody of the dealerships, which are in Nevada. Anyway, I figure the dealerships don't really feel too much pressure to help alleviate the issue if they can rent bikes on their own for more money than what HOG charges.
I've done the Fly-n-Ride deal twice in Vegas and would recommend it to anyone---if it was available...

Fly and Ride worked pretty well last year in Vegas. They even switched out my reserved '07 Heritage for a full-on '07 Ultra Classic the day before pick-up. Had my own flights there and home thru USAF as I'm on a mobile training team and was temporay duty to Nellis AFB.
The charges are correct: $100 a day vs. non-member $155. The service desk had my reservation ready and I just had to wait for the bike to get out of the wash rack.
On the scheduled turn-in day I came down with a migraine (probably from the August afternoon heat ~112F) and couldn't ride. Hell, I could barely open my eyes. I phoned the dealer to talk with the service manager who told me to return it as soon as I was ok. That was the next morning and was uneventful. I never received an "as advertised" additional charge.
Overall, I had a hoot on that bike especially up in the mountains.
I'd recommend F & R to anyone.
