Pretty much mocked up and ready for paint. I have a few more things to powder coat while I'm waiting for paint.

I'll start a build thread pretty soon. It went all the way down to the frame and fixed some cracks and what not. I'm getting real sick of seeing it on the lift, but I'm not trying to rush it this close to the end

Interesting front fender. I'm kinda digging it. Curious how it will painted.

I cut 6" off of the fender it was just entirely to long. The bike has been black like my sig pic since I built the first in 01'. I pieced the entire bike together from swap meet/dads garage the first time. I'm very partial to the black, but I'm think of going with this corvette silver. Opinions on the color will be greatly appreciated.

I also forgot to add that all the chrome on the engine/trans will now be powder coated gloss black. I've had a hard time straying away from black tins, but I'm kinda starting to think it'll look good. Again opinions welcome.

Im having the same thoughts also.....I would love to add some colour to my FXR but they just look soooooo good in black. Like the silver however.

I've been trying to figure that one out myself. Every bike I've ever had has been black. I like different color bikes, but for someone else, not for me... if that makes any sense. For some reason I can't picture having anything but black!

But I do think your bike would look sharp in silver.

most of my bikes have been black or black with another color accents. My Twinkie Dyna is silver and I'm digging it. I briefly thought of giving the satin black treatment, but can't quite commit to it.

The only change I would to your dyna would be, black out the wheels and fork lowers.

This is the only bike that I've owned that isn't black.

It has been a very fun ride, and created alot of memory's. My dad started me riding it when I was 15

The black lowers look alot better IMO. Have you gave any thought into color matching the faring?
