Al, I might be interested in the mustang. I do have a stock FXR rear fender I could trade towards the seat. Let me get back to you later, I have to head out for awhile.

I went to an event this past weekend called the Dirtbag Challenge (http://www.dirtbagchallenge.com/). It is billed as a "Low rent biker build off"). Each entrant is allowed to spend a maximum of $1,000 on his creation and has only 30 days to do the work. This is a non Harley event so some of you might not be interested. From their website regarding Harleys, "It ain't that we don't like 'em, in fact some of us own one or two. IT's just that we think it gives everyone and equal chance. There is a story to this rule, but we ain't got time to tell it here."

So I'm not going to go into the show. There are pictures of past years on their web site that will give you some idea of what this event is all about. But what I did want to show you is what was in the parking lot. At one time a group of five bikes rode up, three of which were fxr's, and really nice ones at that.

This first one is totally tricked out. It is an 86 and the guy had a lot of work done. I can't remember most of what he said he had done but I do remember he said there is not a six speed tranny in the bike.

I spoke a bit with the guy who owns the white one below. After awhile he figured out who I am on teh V Twin forum. He said he is not a registered member of the V Twin forum but he reads all the fxr related posts.

And this last one, the red one, was also quite nice.

I would be happy with any of them but the blue 86 was the one I liked the most. Which would be your choice?

I like the blue one too. Is the white one raked? Or is it just the picture?

Found it.

Too busy for my taste. I like the simplicity of the 2 cylinder fxr.

I like the blue one too.

I remember those Fueling W3's, I believe they were from the early 90's. Fueling also made 4 valve heads for Evos.

I've seen pictures of that one before. I haven't been able to find the FXR one though.

Ok I got it now. It's a "FXR style frame", not an FXR!

Still pretty cool!

Nice job, Michael.

They're all sweet, but I'd have to go with the only -RT, the blue one.

FXR's little brother? Or perhaps Grandmammy?
