And I'm betting the White Brothers muffler has a re-packable core much like the Supertrapp. Check for a lock screw somewhere near the end of the collector.
My E-Pipe has what I think is a really silly design feature. It's built so that, when looking from behind, the oval is vertical when the bike's on the stand. When the bike's vertical, the pipe ain't.

I bought it from a guy who had it on an FXRP. He bought it at a swap meet. I dont know who actually made the seat, or what seat pan it was originally.

Its got the metal framework down the back which i considered painting or powdercoating but it kind of has grown on me and I like it now.

That HD seat you have looks good, ole57. Do you know what it's called. I've never seen one on an FXR.

Pete , the seat came on the bike when I got it . I don't know what it's called . It does have the HD logo etched in to it . I just recently put the original seat on it and I have to admit it's more comfortable for long rides , but I've still got my eyes and ears open for a nice comfortable 2up seat that maybe has a lower profile and is somewhere between the two .

I believe it's called the Diamondback seat, it was made by Harley and they offered a few different rear fender covers. It had to be used with one of these covers, I assume it doesn't hinge.

You are correct it doesn't hinge . The hinge is still on the bike but tucked underneath for a quick swap out ..

Congrats on the "new" bike. Hope you enjoy it. And it looks like an fxr to me, too.

What's the story on how you acquired it? What might you be planning?

Very nice. And nice to hear you were able to do this project with your daughter.

I got it from Kenndy Cycle in Oceanside. The VIN says it is a FXRT...but as I understand the tank is a low rider tank and the rear fender has been changed out. This is my first FXR and not sure what I will do to it...other than ride it now!!!!

Bike looks good Kimo. But a lot more has been changed beside the tank and rear fender!

This is what it should look like:
